There are two little girls I will be writing about fairly regularly. I'll call them, "Mary" and "Annie." These two are in the same class in second grade. About once a week (or more) they have some sort of altercation. Usually about how one will not let the other in their "club" (which isn't more than they will not let them play in their game during that particular recess).
Then there's little "Jack," who is quite the little trouble-maker. He can be very sweet (he gives me hugs now and then - he's also a little manipulator!) but he most often gets into trouble for pushing or saying "naughty" things.
Two wonderful 3rd grader boys have been friends for a long time. "Trenton" and "Brendon" love to hang out in the nature garden where there are lots of bugs for them to torture. There was a period of time where many girls would "tattle" on them about pulling wings off of grasshoppers and watching them hop around in agony. (I told the girls I didn't really care because I hate grasshoppers.)
Oh, and Brendon has a bigger brother in 5th grade. His name will be "Charlie." He, too, is on my radar because he thinks he knows how to work the "system" of adults. I believe he will be a lawyer when he gets older because he loves to plead his case whenever he gets into trouble.
These are just a few favorites. But many more are to come.
